I am a disabled veteran. Before I found South West Restoration, I was taken to the cleaners by an unscrupulous (here un-named) construction company one year and four months ago, when our home was rendered uninhabitable by Hurricane Ian. The first company walked off the job without notice while it was in its early stages; thus precipitating a major financial crisis and a long list of other nightmarish complications which left our home untouched and my family living a nomadic existence for more than a year.
Then we found South West Restoration.
It was clear after the very first meeting with administrative staff at SWR that we had come across a highly professional group of skilled artisans with an honest work ethic. SWR is a no nonsense company. They evaluate, plan and execute with alacrity, focus, skill and dispatch.
I visited the house after the crews finished their day’s work quite frequently during the 60 days in which SWR transformed our home from a total wind and water disaster into a brand new and very beautiful house and I found the work site to be always clean, uncluttered and organized (a reliable sign of true professionalism).
The respect with which I was treated by every SWR employee that I encountered is unprecedented in my experience. Here is the kicker, friends…SWR went to great lengths to help us find ways to save significant amounts of money in the process. SWR did much more than providing us with a new, safe, up-to-code and very beautiful home. They brought an end to our despair. And they will do the same for you.

Josh and his wonderful team have been a light at the end of the tunnel during my home buying process. I bought my first house and he came to my home inspection so I’d know what to expect if I got this house.
He was able to schedule my work a month sooner which was great for me. Him and the team showed up on time on day 1, with great attitudes. As a first time homeowner, everything makes me nervous and Josh helped me with a lot of my questions unrelated to my crawl space which I really appreciate.
They ended up getting the work done faster than planned, and left the place clean and secured. All my concerns were addressed.
I didn’t get any other quotes for the work, because I immediately felt I could trust Josh. If I had found someone ti do the work for less money I would have to worry if they’re doing everything they said they would. I wanted peace of mind and I definitely have that. I had an engineer friend of mine look over the plans and he said this work should outlast my lifetime. Point being, I feel so confidant in the work they have done for me and the quality of that work. They are such a good team, so polite friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with many other things as a new homeowner. I’m so glad they were able to schedule me in and get this work done asap so I’ll be able to get my new house set up for Christmas. I feel I’ve been treated fairly and respectfully and I would recommend Josh to my closest family members and to the people in the world with full confidence they’d have the same experience I did.
I’m looking forward to enjoying my first house now that I don’t have to stress about the crawl space and I am so grateful to Josh and his team and I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs this type of work done and I will be forever appreciative.
After our home was devastated by Hurricane Ian, the staff at Southwest Restoration came in and did an amazing job. Ryan, Todd, Greg, the office staff and all of the workers were professional. Yami was amazing help with answering questions and guiding me through the insurance nightmare. Todd and his crew made sure that our home was clear of the mold and moisture. Ryan was always available auto answer questions and give advice when asked. The company was fair in pricing and sent us to local established outsources when needed. I felt 100% comfortable with the crews that were in my home during the 10-month process.

We experienced some water damage that resulted in needing new floors. Ryan was great to work with. Very thorough on his inspection. Covered every detail before doing any work so there were no surprises. The flooring was ordered and because of deliveries being backlogged we had an extended wait. We were kept up to date by the office and when it arrived. The crew showed up on time. They removed all the old flooring and hauled it away. They completed the whole job over 3 days. His crew was very capable and polite. They did a great job. I love my new floors. I like the fact that he has professional people to do all kinds of repairs or replacements needed. When they found mold it was treated and A plumber reinstalled the stools. Great service. Great people. Would not hesitate to do business with them.

There were two main components: One was to remove and replace two doors that were installed incorrectly. The other was to install a large 10’x50′ custom tongue and groove solid wood ceiling at our home. It was very important to us that the installations would be done impeccably and by a certain date. Todd and Ryan quoted a fair price and their expert crew did the entire job beautifully and on time. It is rare to find true craftmanship but we did with Southwest Restoration. Thank you! They took care of the mold in the shower and retiled it beautifully. The project moved fast, before we knew it it was finished. As a part-time resident of Florida I hired Southwest Restoration to repair water damage and make some updates to my condo. I was extremely happy with the results and the professional way they dealt with me. They found mold that a previous company did not and the upgrades I requested were done exactly as I wished. Even though I had to leave and go back to Indiana for a while, they always kept me informed of what was going on. It was refreshing to know I could trust people in my condo while I was not there. The office always got back to me within 24 hours if I called them. These people are the BEST

Furthermore, this is the third time that I’ve used Southwest Restoration for repairs after a shower leak, kitchen sink leak, and now Hurricane Ian damage. While I hope that I won’t need to do more anytime soon, I know whom I will call in the future.

We can’t say enough about Southwest Restoration and what they have done for us and our home. A week after the hurricane we had a water leak, so we not only had hurricane damage but also water damage that affected a lot of our home. Southwest responded immediately when we called them for help. They worked with our insurance company making sure we received the fair amount needed to make all the repairs. Throughout the whole process, they were professional, helpful, and always answered our calls and questions. The work is top quality and our home has never looked better. After having 4 plumbers and 2 leak detection here, only PaulDavid could find the leak. My master bath shower had to be knocked down to bare bones. My shower is beautiful and all the mold is gone. Since I am handicapped they made my shower more durable to me. We would definitely recommend the Sarasota, FL office to all persons.

The work performed out our home was top notch. From the mold remediation to the replacement of all the flooring in the home everything went smooth as it should. The entire staff was professional and friendly to work with. The office staff was very responsive to any questions we had. Let me just say the superintendent of the job went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure the job was complete. He truly made our experience with Southwest amazing. The owners were in and out checking on the job which gave us peace of mind. We will definitely use them for any work in the future.

I contracted with SW Restoration for a huge renovation that took 3 months to complete. The workmen were very courteous and respectful with us and our property. If there was an issue, I was always contacted by Ryan, the owner or Mark, the super on the job to communicate the issue and give me a timeline on when to expect things to be completed or resolved. I was impressed with all the staff from those in the field, to those in the office. I made changes along the way that were met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Warren surpassed my expectations in the kitchen remodel and went out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted. It was actually a pleasant experience and I recommend them highly. They care! About the workmanship and their customer. I felt like I was their only customer given the attenion they paid to my renovation. Extremely pleased and will use them again on the next renovation.
Ryan, Warren, Greg and their crew did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel. Our house is over 50 years old and the kitchen was not a convenient space. We also had a leak in the wall. Prior to the remodel, we had little counter or cabinet space. After the remodel, we have both. We also had to have mold remediation due to the leak in the cement block wall. SW took our kitchen down to the studs, got rid of the mold and re-architected a complete living space for us. SW was easy to communicate with, especially Jacinda in the office, they were responsive to our needs and their crew was very kind and neat. We would definitely recommend them for any job.
